COVID-19 support
In this current season of uncertainty, it is to be expected that worry and anxiety will escelate for many people. If you are beginning to feel isolated, panicked, anxious or overwhelmed, we are available for either brief intervention or longer term support, to help you navigate through the coming weeks and months.
While we are usually a specialist service for eating disorders, both health and clinical psychologists are “generalist” trained, meaning that we are trained to work across the full spectrum of mental health concerns. Working with worry, stress and anxiety within evidence-based, psychological frameworks is part of our core business.
If you need some extra support during this time, we are available for consultations in our secure virtual clinic, so you can meet with us from the comfort & safety of your home.
Please complete our online self-referral form here or email hello@nurturepsychology.co.nz & we will be in touch promptly regarding the next available appointment times.
For COVID-19 support, we are offering an initial 55-minute online consultation, followed by either standard 55-minute therapy sessions, or briefer 25-minute “check-in” sessions. Click here to complete a self-referral to book a consultation.
